A useful WooCommerce dashboard helps answer a few practical questions: is the information fresh, did the selected buying path work, are there open incidents and does order activity need investigation? A large collection of numbers is less useful if the team cannot tell what to do next.

RevenueGuard places a local dashboard under WooCommerce → RevenueGuard and provides a hosted customer dashboard for connected stores. The local view brings store statistics and monitoring status into the place a store owner already works.

Read freshness before reading the status

Start with the timestamp of the latest plugin report and the latest browser check. They are separate signals. If either is stale, investigate why before treating an old result as current evidence.

Also check whether monitoring is paused, blocked or in maintenance. Those states describe a limit on observation. A store does not become healthy merely because a check has not run, and silence in the inbox does not replace a fresh result.

Review the configured journey

A passing RevenueGuard browser check means the selected guest path reached the expected payment option without a detected checkout error. Review the product, destination and gateway expectation when the business changes.

If a check failed, open the first failing step and supporting evidence. Do not jump straight to aggregate sales numbers to decide whether the alert matters. A real path failure can occur before enough orders exist to change a daily total noticeably.

Interpret orders and recorded payments carefully

The dashboard includes aggregate WooCommerce figures such as orders created, orders marked paid, recorded paid-order value and status counts for the displayed window. These give operational context close to the monitoring result.

Recorded paid value is not the same as money settled into a bank account. Refund timing, provider behavior and accounting treatment require their own records. Check incomplete-data notices and freshness before making comparisons, and use the appropriate accounting system for financial reconciliation.

Look for patterns that deserve a closer review

Review failed-order counts alongside their sample size and rate. Look at the age of pending orders relative to the expected payment process. A small store’s numbers can change sharply after one order, so avoid treating every percentage movement as an outage.

RevenueGuard’s thresholds help surface unusual conditions, but the team supplies the business context. See the order-status guide for a short investigation routine.

Give every open incident an owner

Identify who is investigating, the next action and what evidence they need. Acknowledgment means someone has seen the incident; it is not proof that the store has recovered. Use the protected incident view and support conversation to keep the handoff clear.

Customers should access their own assigned stores and tickets through their own accounts. Do not distribute a SamSiyu operator login to give someone a dashboard shortcut. Access boundaries are part of making the dashboard useful and trustworthy.

Use a five-question daily review

  1. Are the plugin reports and browser checks recent enough to interpret?
  2. Did the configured journey pass, fail or become blocked?
  3. Does each open incident have an owner and next action?
  4. Do order patterns need investigation in their actual payment context?
  5. Did a product, shipping rule or gateway change require a new monitoring configuration?

This is a suggested operating routine, not a guarantee that a five-question check will uncover every issue. It keeps the most actionable information near the start of the day without substituting the dashboard for store administration.

Connect the review to action

Use Settings to correct an outdated scenario, run a check after a relevant change and verify recovery on the original path. For stale data, follow the reporting freshness guide. For a confirmed incident, follow the response plan.
